American researchers reported in the journal Child
Development that an extra hour of sleep reduces the risk of obesity in children
with a sixth.
In the same paper was previously found that children with
insomnia average have low self esteem.
Children, who have poor sleep and snoring moreover, are
particularly at risk.

their IQ is much lower, comparable to that of children who have suffered lead
poisoning. https://plus.google.com/114637313191042642470/about
Others establish a link between this sleep disorder and hypertension.
Disorder biological clock
Marcel Smits: "The sleep deprivation can be caused by
an impairment of the biological clock in children. That is misaligned, causing
example they sleep late and wake up late. Another cause is poor sleep
behavior. Consider children who send
text messages in bed. "
Due to the lack of sleep the brains produce less lepton, a
substance also known as the hunger hormone - which regulates the feeling of
satiety. In mice with a specific genetic defect lepton does not work, they
continue to eat and be bloated. Smits:
"Even in children is the functioning of satiety off. They feel less
quickly, so they are more at risk of being overweight.
